It’s all about how we ASK for feedback. Coach your internal team and your clients on how to give consolidated and actionable feedback.
If you are working with a large team of reviewers. Ask that one person consolidate the feedback so there is only one clear direction.
To make it actionable, ask for feedback that uses specific nouns and verbs.
“Change this to something better” becomes…
“Change the icon of the Google Doc into a generic icon of a document.”
“I don’t like this” becomes “I don’t like the music and text together. It’s distracting. Remove the music and put these words on the screen.”
