Hi, I’m Chris Karel from The Learning Carton and today we’re talking about organizing your visual assets.
A visual asset is anything that is made or purchased that you put on a screen for learning purposes.
The most common types are icons and images.
So, how do you organize all of these things?
Simple!
Create a library.
An asset library is a standardized set of folders that contains all of the assets you will use to make something for learning purposes.
The list of folders you see here will make it easier for everyone to make and update training.
Do you need to reuse an image?
It’s in the asset library.
Do you have someone new creating a new training module?
Send them to the asset library.
Do you need to know what font is used in the training so you can use it in your PowerPoint?
It’s in the asset library.
How do you organize your visual assets?

Until Next time.
Peace.
