I have this friend.

Let’s call them Jessie.

Jessie bounced from job to job until they found a place that helped them thrive. They prospered, raised a family, grew their wealth, and now Jessie takes me on their boat in the summer.

I asked them, “Why did you stay at that place?”

They said,
“You know Chris! You totally know! I learned how to be great at my job because my company showed me the knowledge, skills, and behaviors I needed to succeed.

Why didn’t you leave after you were trained?

Jessie smiled and said, “Why would I leave a place that values me and the bottom line?”

This is what’s cool about Jessie’s story.

Companies that create learning experiences instead of going through the training motions, well they create wealth and people like Jessie!
