A training toolkit is part of a complete plan in a successful training organization focused on continuous improvement. The training toolkit lives on a shared drive and consists of templates, guides, and checklists to help you with any training need.

Hi! I’m Chris Karel from the Learning Carton! I’m on a mission to help YOU make better learning videos. And I’m here to help you use those videos to create better learning experiences.

What is a training toolkit?

A Training Toolkit

As the world tries to figure out remote learning, there’s been a lot of chatter about training toolkits.

So what it ist and how does it help make better learning?

First, a bit about what’s needed to run a successful training organization.

It starts with a playbook with goals, timelines, cultural norms, cost estimators, and measurement plans.

Second, a toolkit filled with templates, guides, and checklists, AND third,

A calendar that details how and when everything will be done, and when training will be measured and updated.

The training toolkit is just one dimension of a successful training organization.

It is stored in a shared drive and consists of templates, guides, and checklists

Every time you or someone in your organization needs to do something related to the training they should use the toolkit.

Have a new training need? – start with the Needs Analysis Tool.

A training is outdated? – run it through the content mapping tool.

Need to build an entirely new program online? – use the How To Create An Employee Learning Program Checklist

With a toolkit, you don’t have to waste time wondering what to do.

You can just use the toolkit to take action.

Now you tell me do you have a toolkit in your organization already? If so, what’s in it?

If you don’t reach out to me, and let’s talk about how to get you one

Comment down below and until next time…PEACE.
